I use all your tips. Love baking soda to clean the new stove grates- add some vinegar and let them soak in the sink. Of course, you know they are all gookie from the jams I have been processing. PS. When I am done, I will be drinking the vodka (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Hi Joy, thanks for taking me further with these cleaning tips I think its easier to hire out these activities then, I don't have to worry about messing up my hair, or spilling something on my clothes or worrying if I really cleaned what was supposed to be clean... plus, you can't blame the mess on yourself, if you're paying somebody else... and, that's all I've got to say about that... this might slide in... Sound good, your tips, I use vinegar too for many cleaning projects..great mold killer and can be used to control some weeds. I don't like using chemicals either...my dad did all his laundry with vinegar..I do use it in mine too but detergents too. Shower doors, walls and tube get wiped down with a towel every time, including the fixtures. Put in new fixtures around 2002 and still look brand new. Same with sinks and the vanity counters, a quick wipe down with a towel keeps the water spots gone and the fixtures shinny. Toilets,,there is a brush beside it and it gets wiped down often. Wipes in a drawer or the germ killing wipes make a quick job of that cleaning. Dusting the cabinets ,,damp towels, same for mirrors only less damp. Takes just a few moments to wipe down all the dust collecting areas. You are in the bathroom already when showering or washing up. I use pure vinegar to wash walls with a swifter meant for floors. I put the vinegar in a spray bottle and shoot the pad often. Vac the walls first. Sometimes I dust with the canister vacuum. I have read that vodka can be used to freshen a already wore shirt or blouse..it kill the bacteria..even splash, spray or wipe some on those arm pits if needed for a quick stink fix. Well there is my nickel worth of cleaning tips.
